The tale of Gao Yuan and Huli

The Tale of Gao Yuan and Huli was an inspirational project that I overtook for the duration of two days on the GMTK game jam.

CONTROLS

Z to activate the orbs and let Gao go on his way. Z is also for getting the robes down.

Shift to sprint, arrow keys to go around. Pick up objects to help Gao along the way.

This was such an ambitious project that I managed to cover only what you see. If anyone is interested I can certainly continue this one with improvements but so far this is what I managed to do in this limited time alone.
